Sylvain François

Sylvain François is an epicure deeply in love with the products of the French soil. For over twenty years he has toured French vineyards and developed a deep knowledge of winemaking regions. The most prestigious wines and most closely-guarded vintages hold no secrets for him.

Upon his friends’ request, he decided to share the fruit of his discoveries in a friendly setting – which developed into the Club Epicura – while surrounding himself with renowned experts.

Alongside this passion, Sylvain François manages an import-export business. His countless journeys have furnished him with knowledge of the international markets and allowed him to establish contact with wine connoisseurs from around the world.

By combining his skills, Sylvain François created the Louis François brand and, naturally, has become its lead ambassador.

Benjamin Roffet

Though barely 30 years old, Benjamin Roffet is a real wine enthusiast. It is a passion that recently led him to pull off a spectacular double-whammy : winner of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2011 and the Meilleur Sommelier de France 2010, (Best craftsman in France in the sommelier class and best sommelier in France).

He practices his trade as sommelier alongside Gordon Ramsay at his two-Michelin-starred restaurant at the Trianon Palace in Versailles.

More than just a profession, for Benjamin Roffet this is a true vocation. This young prodigy, whose approach to wine is professional, uncomplicated and passionate, aspires to never stop learning and to help his clients to benefit from his knowledge.
